Over time, Super and her friends built up the secret world bigger and bigger, with more and more scenes to explore and games to play. They called it Super’s Secret, and eventually just SuperSecret – because, you know, it’s easier to say.
But word got out, as words tend to do. And every day, there was a line of kids outside the house, dawdling and twiddling while they waited. Which is where the neighbors came in.
“STOP,” they said. “You’re too loud. Too fidgety. And you’re having TOO. MUCH. FUN. Do this again, and we’ll boot you out of the Middle of Nowhere.”
Oops. Double oops. So the kids shut down the computers, moped through the rest of high school, and went off to college, leaving their SuperSecret dreams behind.
Then an amazing thing happened: the Internet. Which, as you may know, allows kids to play together without being in the same room, or even the same country. (Being on the same planet is recommended.)
It was the missing link! So Ted and Tony dusted off their old computers and went in search of Super, to bring SuperSecret back to life. She gave them permission and helped from afar – but she couldn’t come out of hiding, where she and her family have been for years. (They’re working on something wildly, mind-blowingly secret.)
So here’s SuperSecret, this time over the Internet, where everyone, in any state or country, can play. It comes all the way from Rupert, to Summer, to Super, to Ted and Tony. And now to you.
